| view in landscape for a better experience |

suffolk softball, the 36th season

The team has put in so much hard work towards this season and we are so proud of them! We want to go out on top and head to the CCC with momentum. This will be the last opportunity to win a GNAC Championship. Our goal is to get that championship title and head to the NCAAs for the first time in program history.

COACH'S CORNER

Jaclyn Davis is back at the helm of Suffolk softball for her eighth season.

Three years ago, she cemented her spot as the winningest coach all-time in Suffolk softball history and currently sits with a 189-146 career record on the Rams' bench.

Davis welcomes back assistant coaches Taylor Lester and Alyssa Williamson to the fold for 2020.

PRESEASON PREDICTIONS

In its final GNAC season in program history, the Suffolk softball team has been predicted to finish as the North Division's runner-up in a vote by the league's 12 head coaches. The Rams received five first place picks to finish with 60 points, two behind the north side's favorite, Emmanuel (62).

SCHEDULE SYNOPSIS

Suffolk softball's 2020 calendar is composed of 40 games over six weeks with a Spring Break trip and eight doubleheaders at East Boston Memorial Park,

We always play good competition in Florida. As we are headed back up north, some of our more notable games within the GNAC schedule should be Johnson & Wales, Saint Joseph’s (Maine) and Emmanuel.. For our non-conference schedule, we are excited to get to see some CCC teams, including Western New England and Roger Williams, as well as Emerson and Lesley.

GNAC GOODBYE

Suffolk will play one final season in the GNAC before making the department wide shift to the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) in 2020-21.

The Rams, who were the inaugural GNAC Champions in the first-ever season in 1996, look to go out on top once again and grab the league trophy for the second time.

We are excited to get the season going, while we have had great success in the GNAC, we are still missing that final piece to the puzzle and will be chasing that GNAC championship this year. This team is hungry and has what it takes to get the job done.

RAMS ROSTER

Jaclyn Davis has put together a 21-player roster that is primarily underclassmen who are eager to aid the experienced returners.

RAMS RINGLEADERS

Suffolk softball head coach Jaclyn Davis has handed the captains reins over to four upperclassmen in seniors Samantha Jacques and Ashley Zulla and juniors Grace Boehler and Kelly Keane.

I could not be prouder of this group of captains. They have been the driving force behind the reinvention of our team culture and the effort in moving the program forward. I am excited to see it translate onto the field.

rams rookies

Head coach Jaclyn Davis has recruited nine members of Suffolk's Class of 2023 to join the Rams' softball program for the 2020 season.

The group is comprised of all true freshmen hailing from six different states and adds depth everywhere on the diamond. A pair of players in Hanna Cash and Alexa White will add a punch to the pitching staff with Leah Kornguth backing up Ashley Zulla behind the plate. There will be four new faces in the infield in Leah Barnes, Leah Sowerbutts, Leina Belog and Ally Cifaratta and a duo of outfielders in Jessica Celli and Grace McGonagle round out the rookie Rams.

We are excited to welcome a large freshman class of nine student-athletes. They have brought an incredible amount of energy and talent to our roster and have done a great job immersing themselves into our culture. They have become a large part of our dynamic and will play a major role in hos this program continues to grow.
