Saints Invitational Preps Cross Country for Championship Season


BOSTON – For the second straight season, Suffolk men's and women's cross country will tune-up for the GNAC Championships at the Saints Invitational as the Rams take the course at Franklin Park Friday, Oct. 13. The women's 5k race gets underway at 4 p.m. with the men set to compete in an 8k at 4:45 p.m.

THE COMPETITION
The field will be a good preview of next weekend's championships as five of Suffolk's GNAC counterparts will be featured on the course in host's Emmanuel, Johnson & Wales, Lasell, Mount Ida and Regis. Overall, 30 women's teams and 29 men's squads across New England will compete Friday afternoon.

LAST TIME OUT – MEN
The Suffolk men's cross country team took the course at the 22nd James Earley Invitational hosted by Westfield State Oct. 7.

LAST TIME OUT – WOMEN
On a rainy Saturday in New England, the Suffolk women's cross country team headed to the Granite State to race at the Keene State Invitational Sept. 30.
