Men’s Cross Country Claims Sixth at Raiders Invitational

NASHUA, N.H. – On a beautiful September morning, seven men's cross country teams took the 8k course on the campus of Rivier University for the Raiders Invitational with sophomore Paulo Guedes earning a 10th-place finish to help guide the Rams to sixth place, its first result of 2015. 

Guedes finished with a time of 30:01 and was one of two Rams to finish in the top-25. Alexander Marcus turned in a 23rd place finish, as he posted a time of 32:21. 

As a team, Suffolk finished with 142 points, while New Hampshire Institute of Technology claimed the top spot with 16 points.

Five runners among a field of 59 represented the Rams. Marcos Ferreira (39th, 40:14), Abdula Khoory (45th-42:53) and Samuel Bojela (54th - 45:19) rounded out the Suffolk contingent. 

Suffolk will be back in action next Saturday when it races at the Pop Crowell Invitational.
