BOSTON – Suffolk track & field opens its second semester schedule this Saturday, Jan. 18 at the Tufts Invitational.

Suffolk men's indoor track & field capped off its first semester schedule Saturday night at Northeastern's Joe Donahue Games at the Reggie Lewis Center.

LAST TIME OUT [ WOMEN ] 
Emily Manfrarepresented Suffolk women's indoor track & Field and NCAA Division III with a third-place finish in the 3000 at Harvard's Beantown Challenge Saturday, Jan. 11 at Gordon Indoor Track.

THE COMPETITION
Joining Suffolk Saturday will be a small NCAA Division III contingent in Amherst, Bridgewater State, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, Coast Guard, Keene State, Springfield, Tufts, UMass Dartmouth and Wentworth. 

JUMPERS JIST
The Rams jumpers will be making their debut in Medford. Julia Hunt will compete in long jump with Nicole DiBenedetto representing the Rams in the high jump and Robert Solari participating in both events.  

THAT'S A FIRST
A handful of student-athletes will compete in specific events for the first time. Connor Abbotoni will race the 400 for the first time and Cole Bolduc will run his first collegiate 800.  

RAMS REGIONAL RUNS
On the track, Emma Weisse will attempt to qualify in the 3K with Mariama Kamara looking to spring onto the regional stage in the 60-meter dash. Allison Rodrigues will also try to punch her ticket to New Englands in the weight throw.  

MANFRA MENTIONABLES
Emily Manfra of the Suffolk women's indoor track & Field team garnered GNAC Athlete of the Week recognition after her performance in the 3000 at Harvard's Beantown Challenge Saturday, Jan. 11.

WHAT'S TO COME?
Suffolk is set to run at two events next weekend, the Wheaton Invitational Saturday, Jan. 25 and the GBTC Invite at Harvard the following day, Sunday, Jan. 26.
