BOSTON – Suffolk men's tennis prepares for a Tuesday, April 23 tilt as the Rams travel to Gordon for a non-conference match. First serve is set for 4:00 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk men's tennis team dominated GNAC foe Norwich, 8-1, Saturday afternoon to earn their first conference victory of the season.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk put together its best performance of the season Saturday afternoon against Norwich, dominating the Cadets 8-1. The Rams have won two of their last three matches to sport a 3-9 record heading into the final week of the regular season.

Freshman Nick Vaillancourt continues his winning ways for the Rams in the second spot, earning victories in his last two matches. He leads the team in singles wins with four.

In doubles play, seniors Chris Parnagian and Rami Esrawi hold down the second spot. The pair has made eight appearances and owns a team-best 3-5 record heading into Tuesday's match.

SCOTS SAYINGS
Gordon sports a 6-11 record heading into Tuesday's tilt with the Rams. The Fighting Scots are coming off of a 6-3 conference victory over Endicott on April 16.  

Nathan Lookwhy has played exclusively as the Fighting Scots' ace and maintains a 10-7 singles mark. Jonathan Frink, Gordon's No. 2, has been the most successful singles player with a 9-4 ledger.

In doubles, Frink and Lookwhy have partnered as the Scots top tandem and sit 10-3 on the year.

INSIDE THE SERIES 

  • Suffolk and Gordon will meet for this first time on Tuesday.

Suffolk will conclude its regular season on Thursday, April 25 in a non-conference match at Rhode Island College.
