CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Suffolk men's tennis team wrapped up a four-match homestand Saturday with a 6-3 victory over Boston Commons neighbor Emerson at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk won all three doubles matches by 8-6 decisions to take a 3-0 lead into singles action where the Rams locked up the match with victories on the first and second courts, respectively.
With the triumph already secured, the Lions took courts four three and six, before Charles Tang took down Shawn Lee in the sixth spot, 8-4, for Suffolk's final points after the afternoon.
NOTEWORTHY
- Suffolk opened the season 2-2 for the first time since 2016.
- Ariel Ilarslan Russo improved to 3-0 as the Rams' ace this season.
