BOSTON – The Suffolk men's tennis team is set for back-to-back contests as the Rams head to Curry Monday, April 3, before hosting Bridgewater State Tuesday, April 4.

LAST TIME OUT
In its first road contest of 2017, the Suffolk men's tennis team fell to Emerson, 8-1, Saturday afternoon.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk (0-2) looks for its first victory of the season as its fell in its season opener 7-2 to UMass Boston, before slipping to Emerson, 8-1.   

Omar Azzaoui is the lone Ram to earn a singles point this season with the freshman cruising to a golden match singles triumph in the third slot against the Beacons. Two different Suffolk tandems earned a win in doubles action with Azzaoui teaming up with Chris Parnagian for a victory against UMass. Rami Esrawi partnered with Kevin Greenman for Suffolk's only point against the Lions. 

CATCH UP ON THE COLONELS
Curry carriers a 2-6 ledger into Monday's match and is coming off a 9-0 setback to Gordon in its conference opener. 

Aidian Roach and Ryan Sullivan have been staples at the top of the lineup for the Colonels in both singles and doubles play. On the doubles court when the two partner together they are 2-3. In singles, Roach boasts a 2-2 record when playing as Curry's ace, while Sullivan is 1-3 on court one. 

BEARS BREAKDOWN
Bridgewater State fell in its season opener to fellow GNAC competition Johnson & Wales, 7-2, and will face Rhode Island College prior to serving against the Rams Tuesday. 

The Bears were swept in doubles action against the Anchormen and picked up wins in the single and fifth singles slots, respectively. Chris Jastrab took the second spot victory by a 6-1, 7-5 score with Harrison Ryan collecting the win at No. 5 in a super tiebreaker, 7-6 (12-10), 5-10, 10-5.

Suffolk sets its attention to GNAC action as the Rams open conference play Saturday, April 8 versus Johnson & Wales at the Winchester Tennis Center at 4 p.m.
