Suffolk at Bridgewater State |
BOSTON – The Suffolk men's tennis team will head out on the road for the first time this season as it travels to face Bridgewater State Monday afternoon in a make-up match from March 7.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk is off to a 2-3 start through its first five matches of the 2016 campaign, all of which the Rams have hosted at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols. Most recently, the Rams fell 7-0 to UMass Boston Thursday evening.
UMass took an early lead sweeping Suffolk in doubles play but the Rams failed to return from the deficit as the Beacons proceeded to win four sets in singles to notch the 7-0 victory.

A BIT ABOUT THE BEARS
Like the Rams, Bridgewater State will also be in search of its third win heading into Monday's match as the team boasts a 2-4 record through its first six contests. In the Bears' most recent matchup Saturday afternoon, the team suffered a 7-2 loss to Western Connecticut State.
Justin Haley and Harrison Ryan have each notched a team-high three wins so far in singles play while the pairs of Michael Delisle and Matt McGee, along with Haley and Chris Jastrab lead the team with two wins each in doubles.
Suffolk is 5-2 in matches against the Bears in the teams' last seven meetings, according to the Rams' record books which date back to 2009.

Following Monday's match, the Rams will return to Buckingham, Browne & Nichols for its last regular season home match as they host UMass Dartmouth on Wednesday, April 13 at 6:30 p.m.
