NORTHFIELD, Vt. – Suffolk men's hockey team took the ice for the final time in 2019-20 as it fell to No. 1 Norwich, 6-0, Saturday night at Kreitzberg Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Norwich's scoring started at the 13:03 minute mark in the first frame. That one-goal margin doubled and then some in the second as the Cadets potted four pucks to grab a 5-0 cushion after two periods. The score stood still with none of the Rams chance sneaking past Tom Aubrun to preserve the shutout. A late marker by the Cadets came with just over two minutes left for the 6-0 final. 

NETMINDER NOTES

• Jarrett Bovarnick made 40 saves in the setback. 
• Aubrun notched 16 stops in the cleansheet.  

STATISTCALLY SPEAKING

• Norwich commanded shots, 46-16, and face-offs, 44-20. 
• Shawn Montgomery and Miller Rubin anchored Suffolk's shots with three apiece.
