Eighth Spring Series Makes Up Men’s Golf 2020’s Spring Slate

2019-20 SUFFOLK MEN'S GOLF SCHEDULE

BOSTON – Suffolk men's golf is set to compete in the eighth annual Spring Series, which comprises the Rams 2020 spring slate.

Suffolk has competed in the three-invitational event since its inaugural year in 2013 and is set to vie for its first-ever crown this season. The Spring Series is a combination of three, 36-hole events with the champion determined by the cumulative team score for the trio of events hosted by Rhode Island College, UMass Dartmouth and Johnson & Wales.

The Rams will first hit the green Friday, April 3 for the two-day Anchormen Invitational at the Valley Country Club in Warwick, Rhode Island. The next weekend, the blue-and-gold stays in the Bay State when it makes the trip to North Dartmouth, Massachusetts, for the Lafrance Hospitality Invitational.

Suffolk heads back to the Ocean State for the final event of the Spring Series, the Wildcats Spring Invitational, which is set for April 18-19 at the Agawam Hunt Country Club.

In the fall, the Rams had one of the most successful seasons in program history with a fifth-place performance at the GNAC Championships Oct. 12-13 and a sixth-place showing at the NEIGA Championships Oct. 19-20, where Owen Boggini became the first Ram to garner All-NEIGA honors in program history.
