EAST BOSTON – Suffolk baseball's bats were quiet against No. 3/4 Endicott and the nationally ranked Gulls took down the Rams, 19-0, in seven innings in Conference of New England play Tuesday afternoon at East Boston Memorial Park.

HOW IT HAPPENED
A grand slam by Robbie Wladkowski in the top of the second sent Endicott in front early, 4-0, and the Gulls never looked back as they put up multiple runs in the next four innings for the lopsided 19-0 margin.  

PITCHERS PICTURE

  • Colin McNeal took the loss as he gave up four runs, three earned, on three hits and two walks in 2.0 innings. 
  • Cam Martin (3 R, 2 H, 1 BB, 1 K), Anthony Ferreira (2 R, 3 H, 1 K) and Dylan Santoro (2 R, 1 H) all came out of the pen for 1.0 inning of relief. 
  • Will Talbert (0.1 IP, 8 R, 3 ER, 4 H, 1 BB) and Nolan Drew (1.2 IP, 1 H, 1 BB, 1 K) threw relief for the Rams' as well.  
  • Evan Scully put together a one-hit, two-walk, three-strikeout effort over 6.0 innings for the Gulls. 
  • Grady Vaindestine tossed 1.0 inning of scoreless, hitless relief with a pair of punchouts.

Suffolk takes a break from CNE contests tomorrow, Wednesday, April when it visits Salem State. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.
