Tim Brigham secured his spot atop the Rams' single-season doubles list as Suffolk baseball ran over Anna Maria, 11-, in the nightcap of a GNAC doubleheader Sunday afternoon at East Boston Memorial Park.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has taken care of business over the weekends to move its overall record to 17-9-1.  

As a team the Rams are hitting .320 led by Tim Brigham's .410 batting average. He has barreled team-high numbers in hits (41) and RBI (32) to go along with 18 records scored. Connor Troio is also hitting over .400, coming into Wednesday's tilt with a .421 connection rate as the blue-and-gold's designated hitter as of late. He holds 16 hits, 15 RBI and six runs scored. 

Tyler Zell has been Suffolk's go-to midweek starter this season. He has served 20.2 innings over six appearances and three starts with eight Ks to his credit. 

LYONS LOOK
Wheaton has rattled off three straight victories, including a pair over nationally ranked Babson, to move to 18-6 on the year.  

As a team, Wheaton has recorded 24 hits through 24 outings with five different batters tallying over 20 hits and Nick Raposo notching a squad-best 40. The junior catcher owns a slash line of .426/.495/.564, has brought in 24 runs, while scoring 30, the most on the squad. Jared Sharkey has produced 31 hits for a team-high 30 runs to go with 25 runs scored.  

The Lyons are also impressive on the hill as the staff has sat down 195 batters with its top three arms all producing over 30 Ks apiece. John Mikosz is the most lethal as the sophomore RHP brings in a 1.41 ERA with 34 punchouts through 32.0 innings and six starts. Paul Prue (32.2 IP, 31 K, 1.93 ERA) and Griffin Young (34.0 IP, 38 K, 2.38 ERA) have made their presence known on the mound this season as well.

Suffolk transitions back to conference play this weekend when it visits Johnson & Wales Saturday, April 13 before entertaining Lasell the following day, Sunday, April 14 at East Boston Memorial Park. Each outing is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.
