The Suffolk University Baseball team extended their winning streak to ten games, sweeping their fourth Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) doubleheader in eight days. Suffolk took a pair of games from Albertus Magnus College on Sunday winning the opener 12-4 before taking game two 9-1.

Senior Mac Jacobson (Norfolk, Mass.) connected on a pair of doubles and scored three runs in game one as he recorded base safely in three of four plate appearances.

Senior Jonathan Richard (North Reading, Mass.) earned his third victory of the season to improve to a 3-1 mark on the season. After allowing a three-run homer in the first to junior Zak Sokolis (Meriden, Conn.), Richard settled in going six strong.

Senior Jhonneris Mendez (Boston, Mass.) pitched a perfect seventh inning in his first appearance of the season.

In game two, Suffolk jumped out to a quick 4-0 lead after their first at bat and did not look back from there.

Senior Steve Chamberland (Bristol, Conn.) went 5 1/3 innings pitched on the mound to earn his second victory of the season. Freshman Mark Fusco (Medford, Mass.) and senior Chris Campbell (Orchard Park, N.Y.) combined to retire the final five hitters out of the bullpen.
