Leveraging the Student-Athlete Experience

Leveraging the Student-Athlete Experience

BOSTON – In Celebration of NCAA Division III Week, Suffolk University Athletics is set to host Leveraging the Student-Athlete Experience, a panel for student-athletes as they begin to prepare for life after sport and land their next job Tuesday, April 8. The panel is presented by Suffolk University Athletics and Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in conjunction with Career Services and the University's Office of Advancement Tuesday, April 8 at 12:15 p.m. at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

Members of Ram Nation are encouraged to head to the basement of the Ridgeway Building to hear from members of the Suffolk Community, who are now successful professionals. SAAC Chair, Suffolk softball junior Catherine Carignan will serve as moderator of the event.

The panel will give out pointers about skills you build as a student-athlete at Suffolk that will help in your career beyond Ridgeway. Additionally, those in attendance will learn how to leverage their athletic experiences to help in job and internship searches.

Refreshments will be served following the near hour-long discussion.

Questions about the event can be directed to Associate Director of Athletics Adam Skaggs.
