  • 90 Rams Receive CCC Winter/Spring All-Academic

    Suffolk was once again well-represented on the Commonwealth Coast Conference All-Academic Team list as there were 90 Rams were recognized among the 894 student-athletes that received Winter/Spring Academic All-Conference nod, the league office announced.

    Suffolk men’s and women’s hockey will skate in honor of those who have and are serving the armed forces with Military Appreciation Games this weekend when the Rams host Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) foe Western New England Golden Bears at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

    Suffolk set a record-number of student-athletes acknowledged for their work inside the classroom as 63 Rams were among the 767 individuals across the Commonwealth Cost Conference (CCC) to garner a spot on the CCC Fall Academic All-Conference Team, the league announced Thursday.

  • Intramurals are Coming: Two One-Day Tournaments Scheduled for December

    Suffolk Athletics has a pair of one-day intramural tournaments on the horizon with 3-on-3 Basketball scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3 and a Pickleball Tournament seven days later, Saturday, Dec. 10. Both day-long events will take place at the Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court in the basement of the Ridgeway Building beginning at 9 a.m.
  • Feel the Power of Yoga December 5

    Take a break and join us on Monday, Dec. 5 for a relaxing yoga class at the Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court located in the basement of the Ridgeway Building. Everyone is invited! While athletes have many protective factors in place – community, resources, regular exercise – the pressure to succeed and time constraints can elevate their risk of developing suicidal thoughts. The stressful nature of participating in collegiate athletics, especially now with the added pressure of the COVID-19 pandemic, can significantly affect student-athletes and their mental well-being.
