BOSTON – Suffolk Athletics joined Under Armour's Through This Together campaign and over a weeklong, online t-shirt sale the Rams raised $1,356.25 to benefit Suffolk CARES. 

The campaign, which was created to keep individuals active and aid in the production of personal protective equipment for frontline healthcare workers, can go a long way for Suffolk University's community. 

Amanda McGrath, Director of Student Outreach and Support, said about the amount raised, "That's amazing! That will allow us to provide 25 Food Insecurity Grants, or three Emergency Grants or fill a full section of the pantry. We are beyond grateful for all those who purchased a shirt and for athletics' unwavering support always, but especially during this difficult time." 

Suffolk CARES, which works collaboratively with students and their families, faculty, staff and other campus resources to provide support for students through a variety of challenges they may encounter, while at Suffolk. Specifically, during this challenging time, the University's Advancement office set-up the Suffolk CARES fundraiser to help students deal with the unplanned financial burdens as the crisis unfolded.
