Built in 1991, formerly known as Ridgeway Gym, the Larry E. Smith & Michael S. Smith Court is the lone on-campus athletic facility for Suffolk University.

Smith Court, which sits in the basement of the Ridgeway Building, is home to the Suffolk University men's and women's basketball teams as well as the volleyball team.

148 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA

Located thirty feet below ground, Smith Court is a unique environment for a collegiate contest.

The court's up close and tight setting allows for fans and spectators to be right on top of the action.

Spectators can view the action in the bleachers situated at court level or up above on the lower mezzanine level, which overlooks the court from the balcony.

Banners hang in Smith Court honoring the greats of Ram Nation including Suffolk University's Hall of Fame Classes, conference championships and 1,000 point scorers for both the men's and women's basketball teams.

On its 25th birthday, in 2015, the gym got a new name, Larry E. Smith & Michael S. Smith Court, in honor of alumni Michael S. Smith, BSBA '61 and his brother, Larry E. Smith, BSBA '65, and their remarkable legacy generosity.
