Women’s Cross Country Takes Fifth at Suffolk Invitational

BOSTON – Suffolk women's cross country assembled a fifth-place finish at the Suffolk Invitational on Saturday afternoon at Franklin Park.  

The Rams combined for 177 points to round out the top five of the 22-team field that featured Northeastern (23), Boston University (56), the University of New England (139) and Keene State (166).  

Ellie Davis clocked a 23:56.4 to pace the blue-and-gold contingent on the 6k course. The graduate student placed inside the top 10 in eighth, while Skyler Goodman was three spots behind in 11th thanks to her time of 24:03.1. 

Sarah Roberts came through the finisher's chute in 25:29.5 to claim 32nd and Amy Pattelena crossed the tape in 26:21.7 to lock up 48th.                            

Jocelyn Triscik (28:57.9) and April Banuelos (29:12.3) were separated by one runner in 91st and 93rd, respectively. 

Sarah Forrister (30:39.3) and Michelle Riley (32:16.8) competed for Suffolk as well. 

The Rams will have a week off to prep for the 2022 CCC Championship Saturday, Oct. 29 in Biddeford, Maine at Rotary State Park.
