BOSTON – The Suffolk men's and women's cross country teams continue the 2015 season at the Pop Crowell Invitational, hosted by Gordon College on the campus of the Fighting Scots. The women's race will begin first at 10:45 a.m., followed closely by the men's run at 11:30 a.m.

LAST TIME OUT – WOMEN
Paced by Michelle Kearney, who finished the 5k in 24:20, the Suffolk women's cross country team finished third of seven teams on a gorgeous Saturday morning at the Raiders Invitational on the campus of Rivier University.

LAST TIME OUT - MEN
On a beautiful September morning, seven men's cross country teams took the 8k course on the campus of Rivier University for the Raiders Invitational with sophomore Paulo Guedes earning a 10th-place finish to help guide the Rams team to sixth place, its first result of 2015.

Guedes finished with a time of 30:01 and was one of two Rams to finish in the top-25. Alexander Marcus turned in a 23rd place finish as he posted a time of 32:21.

THE COURSE
Both races – the women's is a 5k and the men's is an 8k -  start on Gordon's Quad, which used to host big polo events in the early 1900s, and winds its way through the Fighting Scots 450 acres of wooded area.

The Suffolk men's cross country team takes a week off when the women travel to West Hartford, Connecticut for the USJ Blue Jay Invitational Saturday, Oct. 3. Both Rams' squads are back in action together Saturday, Oct. 10 when the teams race at the James Earley Invitational.
