LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk volleyball capped off its first home tri-match of 2023 with a 3-0 victory over Worcester State Saturday afternoon at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. The triumph marked the Rams fifth in a row and fourth consecutive straight set decision.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Thanks to its five-match win streak Suffolk carries a 6-5 overall mark into Tuesday's tangle.  

McKenna Keowen (2.40) and Jessica Weber (2.33) average over 2.00 kps to pace the Rams' 10.81 kps attack that is set up by Jayla Martinez and Aislinn Lanigan, who hand out 4.63 aps and 3.42 aps, respectively. Morgan Kelseyadds 0.78 aces per set to the offense from the service line.  

Kelsey anchors the defense with 4.14 dps. Keowen adds 3.14 dps and Sami Shore supplies 0.75 bps. 

LIONS LOOK
Eastern Nazarene is undefeated through eight matches with half of those victories coming in straight sets.  

Andrea Aceituno leads the Lions' 11.48 kps attack with 3.48 kps of her own. Everyday starters Eliana Baran and Maria Clarabuch provide 2.82 kps and 2.52 kps, respectively. Shantte Siliezar factors into the offense as well with 3.18 kps in five appearances. Telma Zelaya has held down the primary setting role with 9.03 assists per set. She is also a threat at the service line with 0.90 aces per set.

Aceituno paces things defensively as well with 2.79 dps. She is complimented by Amanda Pierce's 2.59 dps and Piper Bolner's 0.58 blocks per set.  

INSIDE THE SERIES

• Since 2003, Suffolk leads the series with Eastern Nazarene, 7-6. 
• The Lions have won three battles in a row over the Rams in straight sets including the last meeting, Sept. 3, 2022.
