LAST TIME OUT
In its CCC opener, Suffolk volleyball saw its six-game win streak come to an end Tuesday night as the Rams came out on the wrong side of a 3-1 decision to Gordon at Kanas Court at the Bennett Center. The Rams first setback in 10 days was one of the closest matches in recent memory with set scores of 23-25, 25-23, 27-25 and 29-27.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk fell in a closely contested CCC opener at Gordon, 3-1, to move to 8-3 on the year.  

McKenna Keowen's 3.37 kps anchor the Rams' 11.17 kps attack that is set up primarily by Harmony Johnson's 7.55 aps. Jess Weber and Grace Cervenka add 3.33 kps and 2.35 kps, respectively, while Morgan Kelsey is a force at the service line with 1.41 aces per set. 

Kenzley Bell's team-best 4.25 dps is complimented by 2.00 dps from Kelsey and Keowen. Cervenka (0.56 bps) and Alina Nowakowski (0.48 bps) are forces at the net for the blue-and-gold.

FRAMINGHAM STATE FACTS
Framingham State heads to Boston 7-4 on the season and is coming off a sweep of Northern Vermont-Lyndon.  

Anna Szymanski does the bulk of the work on offense with 3.29 kps. Hailey Sanders and Isable Hendwood are two-way players. Sanders supplies 2.28 kps and 0.41 bps and Hendwood averages 4.89 assists per set and 2.80 dps. Stella Bailey (4.10 aps) splits time as FSU's setter along with Hendwood. Malia Shields holds down the defense with 3.62 dps.

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Since 2003, Suffolk sits 2-13 all-time against Framingham State. 
  • The Boston Rams and FSU Rams renew a rivalry, meeting for the first time since 2008. 
  • Suffolk looks to snap a two-match skid against Framingham State and defeat FSU for the first time since Oct. 7, 2017.
