BOSTON – Suffolk volleyball is back in the friendly confines of Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court Wednesday, Sept. 14 for a midweek match against Fisher. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk volleyball opened its home calendar in record-setting fashion as the Rams served 35 aces in just 53 minutes to take down Lesley in straight sets Monday night at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court. The 35 aces currently rank seventh in NCAA Division III this season and are the most in the Rams' match-by-match record book, which dates back to the 2011 campaign.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk (5-2) rides a three-match win streak into Wednesday's outing. All seven of the Rams matches this season have bene straight set decisions. 

Jess Weber and McKenna Keowen have proven to be the main offensive forces for Suffolk as the sophomores anchor the 10.95 kps. Weber's 3.33 kps leads the way with Keowen's 3.17 kps falling in a close second. Grace Cervenka has stepped in up in the last three matches and supplies 2.50 kps to the effort that is primarily set up by Harmony Johnson (6.90 aps).  

Suffolk has taken advantage of its servers this season, averaging 4.33 aces per set, paced by 1.28 aces by set from Morgan Kelsey

Kenzley Bell powers the defense with 4.57 dps. Keowen adds 2.33 dps and Alina Nowakowski pitches in 0.53 bps. 

FALCONS FACTS
Fisher is also on a three-match win streak and sits 6-2 on the year. Over that stretch, the Falcons defeated Dean (3-1), Mass. Maritime (3-0) and Emmanuel (3-1).  

Macy Barnes is the top offensive and defensive threats with team-leading numbers in kills (4.22) and second-best digs (4.07) per set. Ashly Velazquez (1.71 kps) compliments Barnes on the attack, while Edsyl Irizarry (6.28 dps) leads the way defensively.

COMING UP
Suffolk heads to Gorham, Maine, this Saturday, Sept. 17 for a tri-match at Southern Maine with Castleton. The Rams will first face the Spartans at 2:00 p.m., before taking on the host Huskies at 4 p.m.
