2020 SUFFOLK VOLLEYBALL ROSTER
BOSTON – Coming off the winningest season in program history, head coach Scott Blanchard brought in five members of Suffolk's Class of 2024 to boost the volleyball line-up in 2020.
The group is comprised of all true freshmen in Madison Amaral, Lauren Harper, Jasmine James, Liv Sargent and Emily Wheeler.
"I'm looking forward to the addition of this incoming class," Blanchard said. "They will all provide much needed depth at several positions."
Blanchard continued, "Emily Wheeler, Jasmine James and Liv Sargent will add depth on the pins, Madison Amaral will add to our defense, and Lauren Harper can both set and play defense. Not only do they add to our depth, they will compete for playing time immediately, and help continue to move this program in the right direction."
The quintet had their Suffolk debuts sidelined due to the COVID-19 pandemic cancelling competition in the 2020 Fall semester. Despite the tradition season being canceled, the rookies, along with their veteran teammates, have hopes of competing this spring.
