BOSTON – Suffolk volleyball looks to return to the win column as the Rams travel to Anna Maria Saturday, Oct. 12. The GNAC contest is set to start at 12:00 p.m. at Fuller Activities Center.

BENCH PRESS FOR BREAST CANCER
Members of Ram Nation are asked to pull their weight in an effort to take the load off of those affected by breast cancer in Suffolk Athletics' Bench Press for Breast Cancer event Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk volleyball saw its five-match win streak come to a halt Wednesday night to the hands of nationally ranked Johnson & Wales. The No. 17 Wildcats swept the Rams in GNAC action by set scores 25-11, 25-8 and 25-11.

RAMS REVIEW
Suffolk enters Saturday following its first GNAC loss to dip to 14-6 overall and 5-1 in conference contests.  

Hannah Fabiano powers the 10.20 kps offense with 2.90 kps of her own with Kayla Barbera and Sarah Mullahy adding 1.90 kps and 1.85 kps, respectively. Freshman Harmony Johnson runs the attack with 7.89 aps.  

Kenzley Bellleads the defensive effort with 3.81 dps. Dakhensey Marcellus falls just behind with 3.42 dps. Stephanie Rheaume provides height up front with 0.49 bps and Mullahy chips in 0.45 bps.

AMCATS ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Anna Maria had fallen in nine straight, all of which were 3-0 setbacks, to enter Saturday's showdown 2-14 on the year and 0-6 in GNAC play.  

Freshman Bella Kozciak's 1.43 kps lead the Anna Maria attack, while senior Hannah Mitchell contributes 1.13 kps to the effort. Julia Ramos and Cara Bromley facilitate the AMCATs attack with 3.63 aps and 2.63 aps, respectively.  

Defensively, Serena Dennis posts 2.79 dps along with 2.63 dps from Kozciak. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk holds a 5-3 edge in the all-time series with Anna Maria, which began in 2011.
  • The last two meetings have resulted in a Suffolk victory, both by a 3-0 sweep.
  • All eight meetings have been decided in straight sets.
