BOSTON – Suffolk volleyball brings its three-match win streak to the Granite State this weekend for a GNAC tri-match at Colby Sawyer Saturday, Oct. 5. The Rams get the day underway at 1 p.m. versus Emmanuel before wrapping up the action against the Chargers.

LAST TIME OUT
Kenzley Bell became the second-known Ram to produce a triple-double to lead Suffolk volleyball to a straight set victory over Becker at the Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court Tuesday night.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Just 17 matches into the season, Suffolk has matched its win output from a year ago at 12-5 overall. When it comes to GNAC contests, the Rams are unbeaten against league foes 3-0.  

Hannah Fabiano (2.64) and Kayla Barbera (2.06) each average over 2.00 kps to lead the Rams' 10.32 kps attack, which is primarily set up by Harmony Johnson's 7.90 aps.   

Kenzley Bell anchors Suffolk's defense with 4.05 dps with Dakhensey Marcellus adding 3.52 dps to the effort. At the net, Stephanie Rheaume and Sarah Mullahy pace the pack with 0.47 bps and 0.46 bps, respectively. 

SAINTS SAYINGS
Emmanuel fell to Eastern Nazarene when it stepped out of league action Thursday night to dip to 5-9 on the season. 

Isabella Miller's 2.05 kps holds down the Saints' 8.82 kps attack with Marissa Cataldo and Anna Caristi each providing 1.67 kps. Jalen Winfrey (4.61 aps) and Rachel Coleman (3.97 aps) split time as Emmanuel's setters.  

The Saints defense is paced by Samantha Carrigan's 4.86 dps with Cataldo adding 3.28 dps and Shannon Carroll's 0.50 bps leading the way at the net. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk has coupled back-to-back wins against Emmanuel to move to 2-15 all-time versus the Saints since 2003. 
  • The foes went to five sets for the first time a year ago with the blue-and-gold coming out on top. 
  • The Rams defeated Emmanuel in straight sets once, in 2017, while the Saints have swept the Rams 12 times. 
  • In four set matches versus the Saints Suffolk is 0-3.

CHARGERS CATCH UP
Colby Sawyer has fallen in its last three matches to sit at 8-11 on the year and 1-2 against GNAC counterparts.  

Naarha Cox is the Chargers' offensive leader with 2.52 kps to her credit with Rebecca Straubel (1.91 kps) and Sam Mohammed (1.81 kps) as consistent contributors on the attack as well. Anna Allen has held down setting duties for CSC, dishing out 6.71 aps this season.  

Defensively, Morgan Flynn's 3.97 dps leads the way with Allen adding 2.79 dps and Cox pitching in 0.85 bps.
