2019 SUFFOLK VOLLEYBALL ROSTER
BOSTON - Suffolk volleyball head coach Scott Blanchard has announced the addition of nine incoming student-athletes that will join the program in the fall of 2019.
The group features two Newbury transfers in juniors Stephanie Rheaume and Monica Bolduk, a pair of sophomores Christina Hickey and Chryssabella Jones-Craig and five true freshmen Kenzley Bell, Harmony Johnson, Michelle Lo, Emerson Martin, and Jordan Smith.
"This years additions, will continue to take the team in the right direction," Blanchard said. "Their presence, added to a terrific returning core, will help bolster the new culture of the team."
Suffolk capitalized on Newbury's closing, picking up the talents of Bolduk and Rheaume.
"Both will provide valuable college playing experience having already played two seasons at Newbury," said Blanchard. "Stephanie will make an immediate impact at middle blocker and Monica will compete and add depth at outside hitter."

Began her collegiate career at Newbury … Played two seasons with the Nighthawks … Appeared in 45 matches, 157 sets … Compiled a stat line of 319 kills, 147 digs, 54 blocks, 31 aces and 21 assists.

Four-year letterwinner at Winnacunnet … All-State second-team selection as a senior … Also lettered in tennis at Winnacunnet.
A set of sophomores head to Suffolk where they will begin their collegiate playing days.
"Chryssabella and Christina both possess an excellent work ethic and skill sets," said Blanchard. "Chryssabella will provide depth in the middle and on the right side, and Christina will compete in a few different positions -- outside hitter, right side and defensive specialist."

The quintet Class of 2023 will be making it collegiate debut in blue-and-gold. Among the group are three league championships, the two-time South Georgia Player of the Year and four all-league selections.
"An excellent recruiting class, all players will compete for playing time," Blanchard said. "Kenzley and Harmony will be taking over the role at setter, both played on national level club teams and will bring that experience while running the offense. Emerson is a six-rotation ball control outside hitter that will be vying for playing time for day one. Michelle and Jordan will bring us much needed depth at defensive specialist, both have excellent ball control and will look to get playing time."
