    Suffolk volleyball’s Talia Lombardo capped off her collegiate career with all-conference accolades as the senior setter was named to the All-GNAC Third-Team, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.

    The Suffolk volleyball team’s historic run came to an end Thursday night as the Rams fell to No. 2 Johnson & Wales, 3-0, in the GNAC Semifinals inside the Wildcat Center. The season-ending setback came by set scores 25-12, 25-16 and 25-13.  
  • Volleyball Heads to No. 2 Johnson & Wales Thursday for GNAC Semis

    Suffolk volleyball will make its first-ever appearance in the GNAC semifinals Thursday, Nov. 1 when the Rams travel to No. 2 Johnson & Wales. The tournament’s fifth and first seed are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. first serve at JWU’s Wildcat Center.
  • Volleyball Makes History, Sweeps Lasell to Advance to GNAC Semis

    The Suffolk volleyball team rewrote history twice Tuesday night as the Rams defeated Lasell in the GNAC Quarterfinals with both the win over Lasell and in the league quarterfinals a first in program history.  The victory came in straight sets by scores 25-20, 25-21 and 26-24.

    The quest for GNAC glory begins Tuesday, Oct. 30 as the fifth-seeded Suffolk volleyball team makes the trip to fourth-seed Lasell. The quarterfinals contest is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

    The Suffolk volleyball team faced its first known nationally ranked opponent in recent history and could not overcome the powerhouse of No. 2 Johnson & Wales as the Wildcats took care of business in straight sets Saturday afternoon at the Wildcat Center. The Rams’ GNAC setback came by set scores 25-15, 25-16 and 25-12.
  • St. Joseph’s (Maine) Stops Volleyball in Four in Regular Season Finale

    The Suffolk volleyball team forced a fourth frame with a thrilling third set, but could not complete the comeback as Saint Joseph’s (Maine) put the match way 3-1 at the Wildcat Center. The decision came by set scores 27-25, 25-15, 25-27 and 25-20.  
  • Volleyball Heads to No. 2 JWU for Final Tri-Match of Season

    With playoff position on the line, Suffolk volleyball makes the trip to Providence, Rhode Island, Saturday, Oct. 27 for a tri-match at No. 2 Johnson & Wales featuring Saint Joseph’s (Maine). The Rams will take on national powerhouse JWU to get the day going at 12 p.m., before capping off regular-season action at 2 p.m. versus the Monks.
  • Lombardo Hands Out 1000th Assist as Volleyball Sweeps Becker

    Talia Lombardo joined elite company Thursday night as she collected her 1000th career assist to anchor Suffolk volleyball to a sweep over Becker at Leicester Gymnasium. The victory, the Rams’ last non-conference contest of the season, came by set scores 25-21, 25-18 and 25-22.

    Despite owning the lead in each set the Suffolk volleyball team could not hold off rallies from the University of Southern Maine as the Huskies came back in each frame to secure a non-conference sweep Tuesday night inside Regan Gymnasium. The out-of-league decision came by set scores 25-15, 25-18 and 25-22.

    Suffolk volleyball takes a break from conference competition Tuesday, Oct. 23 when the Rams welcome Southern Maine to Regan Gymnasium. Prior to the 7 p.m. first serve, Suffolk will honor its seven members of the Class of 2019: Bridget Allison, Heidy Barriero, Emma Feeney, Talia Lombardo, Dorothy Mensah, Chidera Nwankwo and Leah Pedersen.

    The Suffolk volleyball team captured its sixth-straight GNAC contest behind a thrilling 3-2 triumph over Norwich at Andrews Hall Saturday afternoon. The victory came behind set scores of 25-19, 25-19, 15-25, 24-26 and 16-14.  
  • Volleyball Ventures to Norwich for Tri-Match with Regis Saturday

    The Suffolk volleyball team remains on the road Saturday, Oct. 20 for a tri-match at Norwich featuring the Regis Pride. The Rams will first take the court in Northfield, Vermont, at 1 p.m. versus the Pride, before squaring off with the Cadets at 3 p.m.
