BOSTON – A mid-week GNAC match-up is on the schedule for the Suffolk volleyball team Wednesday, Oct. 19 as the Rams travel to Anna Maria at 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's volleyball team fell in straight sets at Plymouth State at Foley Gymnasium Oct. 13. The non-conference contest setback came in set scores of 25-15, 25-8 and 25-20.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
At 9-10 overall, Suffolk has collected the most victories since 2013. In conference action, the Rams are still in the post season hunt with a 2-4 league ledger, which is good for eighth in the standings.

Bridget Allison continues to be a force for Suffolk's offense as the sophomore has led the Rams in kills 12 times and averages 1.91 kps. Chidera Nwankwo and Talia Lombardo are also offensive threats for Suffolk with 1.62 kps and 1.57 kps, respectively. Liz Kerek (4.14 aps) has handled the majority of the setting responsibilities.

Suffolk's trio offensive threat contributes on the defensive side of things as well. Nwankwo (0.56 bps) and Allison (0.60 bps) are forces at the net with Lombardo pitching in with receptions with (2.75 dps). Jessica Rexrode leads the Rams defense, however, with 3.290 dps. 

ABOUT THE AMCATS
Anna Maria sits in sixth place in the GNAC standings with a 3-3 mark against conference competition and a 14-10 overall record.    

Amari King (4.34) kps) and Rebecca Foti (4.00 kps) lead the AMCATS attack with Tierney Clancy (8.74 aps) setting Anna Maria's offense up. Defensively, Carolina Garcia leads the charge with 4.05 dps, with Hannah Mitchell providing 0.44 bps.

Suffolk recorded its fourth sweep of the season Saturday versus Albertus Magnus, the most since the Rams notched five in 2014.
