BOSTON – The Suffolk women's volleyball team travels north Thursday, Oct. 13 for a non-conference contest at Plymouth State. Match time is set for 6 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
In the tail end of its GNAC tri-match at Emmanuel, the Suffolk volleyball team came out on the winning end against Albertus Magnus, sweeping the Falcons at Jean Yawkey Center Saturday.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk slipped 9-9 overall after a 3-0 setback to Rivier Oct. 10.  

Offensively, Bridget Allison (1.94 kps), Chidera Nwankwo (1.64 kps) and Talia Lombardo (1.61 kps) lead the way with Liz Kerek holding the majority of the setting responsibilities (4.22 aps). On the defensive side of things, Jessica Rexrode paces the Rams with 3.45 dps with Lombardo (2.81 dps) and Emma Feeney (2.80 dps) adding to the effort. At the net, Allison and Nwankwo each contribute 0.56 bps. 

PROWL ON THE PRIDE
Plymouth State has slipped in two straight matches to move to 12-10 on the season.    

The Panthers receive a 2.37 kps from Claire Sporer, with Dani Tabor (2.17 kps) also notches over 2.00 kills per set. Megan Bailey (8.73 aps) and Shannon Howland (6.83 aps) have split time as Plymouth's setter. Brenna Peruch leads the way defensively with 4.14 dps, while Mikki Taffe (0.60 bps) and Brianna Wojtas (0.53 bps) contribute to the effort at the net.

Suffolk recorded its fourth sweep of the season Saturday versus Albertus Magnus, the most since the Rams notched five in 2014. 

UP NEXT
Suffolk takes the weekend off before paying visit to Anna Maria Wednesday, Oct. 19. The GNAC contest is slated for a 7 p.m. first serve.
