BOSTON – The Suffolk women's volleyball team caps off a five-match homestand Tuesday, Sept. 20 when Wentworth comes to Regan Gymnasium for a 7 p.m. non-conference contest.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk volleyball team snapped its four-match skid in its tri-match closer against Pine Manor as the Rams downed the Gators, 3-1.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Suffolk shot out to a 3-0 start before falling in four straight, but the Rams righted the wrongs when they defeated Pine Manor, 3-1, to even their ledger at 4-4. 

Talia Lombardo leads the way offensively and defensively. The sophomore connects for 1.65 kps and 2.42 dps to go along with 1.62 aps. Her classmate, Bridget Allison contributes 1.46 kps and 2.19 dps. Liz Kerek is the Rams primary setter, averaging 3.73 aps.

LOOK AT THE LEOPARDS
Wentworth is off to the best start in the program's history at 9-1 with its lone setback coming from WPI. The Leopards take a four-match, straight set win streak into Tuesday's meeting with the Rams. 

Leah Rogoz and Claire Quick notch well over 2.00 kps to lead the Leopards offensively with Quick's 3.70 dps also playing a major factor. Katie Clouse sets up Wentworth's offense that scores 10.36 kps. Lillie Clark's 4.09 dps paces the pack with Samantha Lassiter (0.56 bps) and Sarah Hyndman (0.50 bps) adding on the defensive side of the net.

EYES ON THE MATCH

UP NEXT
Suffolk heads to Curry Saturday, Sept. 24 for a tri-match with the Colonels and Pine Manor. Playing in back-to-back matches, Suffolk takes the court against Curry at 11 a.m., followed immediately by a rematch with the Gators.
