FITCHBURG, Mass. – Dahkensey Marcellus and Michelle Kearney of the Suffolk women's track & field team raced at the Eric Loeschner Memorial Invitational Saturday afternoon hosted by Fitchburg State at Elliot Field. 

Marcellus turned in a sixth-place showing in the 100 M dash with the freshman putting together a time of 14.43. 

Kearney competed in the 1500 M run, finishing the 6:11.03 to take 14th overall.

The pair of Rams join the Suffolk squad next weekend in its first-ever championship even in program history, the GNAC Championships, Sunday, April 29 at Regis.
