
BOSTON – Suffolk women's indoor track & field sent half a dozen student-athletes to the Track at New Balance to participate compete at the NCAA Division III New England Regional Championships over the weekend.
JJ Conteh highlighted the Rams performers as the sophomore secured 10th in the 60 dash with a 7.92. Amanda Walden was featured in the 37-rield and clocked an 8.18.
Walden also ran the 400 and made the lap around the track in 59.40, good for 14th. Emily Concepcion was three spots behind her classmate with a 1:00.23.
Sydney Fogg rounded out the Rams runners with a 17th-place performance behind a time of 17:30.56 in the 5000.
In the high jump, Averie Dennelle cleared 1.59 meters, good for ninth in the 20-jumper field, just one spot shy of All-New England honors.

Amalia Dorion will represent the Rams at the Last chance National Qualifier at Boston University tomorrow, Sunday, March 2 in the hopes of clinch her spot at nationals.
