NEW YORK – Over the weekend, Emma Weisse of the Suffolk indoor track & field team took her talents to the Big Apple to Compete at the NYU's NYC Invitational at the New Balance Track & Field at the Center at the Armory.
Weisse was one of 68 runners to wear a bib in the mile. The junior put together a time of 5:16.98 to take 10th in the field, which featured some of the best long-distance runners across Division III.
The Rams are set for one final event, Boston University's David Henry Valentine Invite Friday, Feb. 8, prior to the indoor championship season, which began in two week.
