RAMS REVIEW
Suffolk snapped a season-opening, five-match skid with its first victory of the season, a 7-2 victory at Albertus Magnus last Saturday, Sept. 14. Since then, the Rams fell in back-to-back matches to dip to 1-7 on the year and 1-2 versus GNAC foes.

Alyssa Blade has been the most successful Suffolk singles player as the rookie holds a 3-5 ledger all from the fifth spot. Ilda Ascic has played as the Rams' ace in all eight matches. The sophomore's single record mirrors the team's record at 1-7.

In doubles, the tandems of Ascic and Kendall Smith and Jordan Miller and Bianca Prescott are each 2-6 on the year. The former is the top team, while the latter is the second spot squad.

BLUE JAYS BREAKDOWN
A two-match win streak leveled St. Joseph (Conn.)'s record to .500 on the season (3-3) and in conference contests (1-1). Prior to hosting the Rams Saturday, the Blue Jays will compete at the Grass Courts Doubles Championships Friday, Sept. 20.

Domonique Carnot and Emily Kerr each sport 3-1 singles marks to be the winningest racquets for USJ. Carnot plays in the second and third slot, while Kerr has split time on courts four and five. Jessica McAllister is the Blue Jays ace and enters the showdown 1-3 on the year.

The tandem of Carnot and Kerry are unbeaten this season. Their 2-0 record is exclusively in the third position. Elanie Griffiths and McAllister have partnered up as St. Joseph's top tandem in all four matches this year (0-4).
