Regis Stops Women’s Tennis, 7-2

NORTH READING, Mass. – The Suffolk women's tennis team could not build momentum off its double points advantage as Regis swept singles action to take down the Rams, 7-2, Wednesday night at North Reading High School.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk grabbed a 2-1 lead in the match after taking the first and third doubles courts. Meagan French and Jordan Miller recorded the first point of the night with an 8-3 victory over the Pride's Kaleigh Fitzpatrick and Lauren Mogelnicki. Regis evened the score as Carly Donovan and Katelyn Mogelnicki bested Elena Cisneros Garcia and Kendall Smith, 8-6, in the second slot. Suffolk's top tandem of Delaney Dunlap and Ilda Ascic righted the wrong and put the Rams in front with an 8-5 triumph over Katasha Jarvis and Ariana McCormack.  

The Pride turned up the volume as the match switched into singles play and grabbed victories on courts two through five to clinch the victory.

6 – Grace Jarest (Regis) defeated Jordan Miller (Suffolk), 2-6, 6-3, 7-6

DOUBLES
