LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's tennis team downed the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.), 7-2, at the USJ Tennis Courts Saturday afternoon to push its win streak to five straight.

STANDINGS SITUTION
Suffolk is currently in third place in the GNAC standings with a 3-1 league ledger and an overall mark of 7-4. The Rams lone conference loss came by the racquets of Regis, who sits in second at 4-1 in league play, while Johnson & Wales' unbeaten record of 4-0 is good for first.
RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk takes a five-match win streak into the midweek match to carry an overall record of 7-4 and league ledger of 3-1 to Riverside, Rhode Island.
Delaney Dunlap has held down the ace position for the blue-and-gold all season as the junior sports a 7-4 record. Danlyn Medou's racquet has been the most consistent with the sophomore owning a team-best 8-2 singles record.
In doubles play, Dunlap and Keely Hardy own a 6-1 ledger including an unbeaten 4-0 league ledger at the second spot.
WILDCATS WAYS
Johnson & Wales is the top contender in the conference currently as the Wildcats sit atop the standings with an undefeated 4-0 league mark. Overall, JWU is 10-1 and takes a six-match win streak into Wednesday.
Nina Cohen has played exclusively as the Wildcats ace, producing an 8-3 mark. Delaney Macchirole, who plays on courts three and four, respectively, owns the most successful singles record at 11-0.
Cohen and Macchirole team up in doubles action as JWU's top tandem. The duo is 9-2 with the second slot pair of Madison Hernandez and Holly Olson sporting a 10-1 record.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- Since 2007, Suffolk trails the all-time series with JWU, 7-14.
- The Rams picked up the last meeting, 5-3, Oct. 8, 2016.
- Seven matches have been decided in 5-4 fashion. In such meetings, the blue-and-gold is 3-4.

Suffolk wraps up regular season action Saturday, Oct. 14 as it heads home for the first time in two weeks. The Rams will entertain Simmons at North Reading High School. Prior to the 10:00 a.m. first serve, Suffolk will honor the playing careers of its two graduating seniors, Jacquelyn Nakamura and Isabel Rathlev.
