CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Suffolk women's tennis team returned to the win column Thursday night as the Rams put together an 8-1 triumph over out-of-league foe Lesley at Buckingham, Browne & Nichols.

HOW IT HAPPENED
After the Lynx locked up the first points of the night the Rams rolled from there winning the following eight courts to take the match, 8-1.
After Isabel Rathlev and Elena Cisneros Garcia fell 8-4 to Caroline Kiddie and Theresa Pereira on the op doubles court, Jacquelyn Nakamura and Danlyn Medou leveled the playing field with an 8-6 win over Sara Stanton and Rachel Miningham from the third position.
Delaney Dunlap and Keely Hardy's 9-7 win in the second spot over Jessica Russo and Maddie Abbott put the Rams in front for good.
In singles, Medou bested Stanton, 6-1, 6-1, in the fifth position before Rathlev took down Pereira, 6-4, 6-4, on cour three.
Cisneros Garcia's 6-3, 6-2 decision over Abbott in the second slot secured the win for Suffolk. Meagan French followed with a 6-3, 6-2 against Miningham in the sixth spot.
Hardy put together a 6-0, 6-1 decision over Russo at No. 4 and Dunlap rallied for a three-set, 6-3, 3-6, 11-9 win versus Kiddie on court one.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Suffolk returns to GNAC action Saturday, Sept. 30 when the Rams make the trip to New Haven, Connecticut for a battle with the Falcons of Albertus Magnus.
