BOSTON – Suffolk women's soccer begins its quest for GNAC glory Saturday, Nov. 2 when the fourth-seeded Rams entertain the fifth-seeded Lasers of Lasell at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park. The quarterfinals contest is scheduled for a 12 p.m. kick-off.

RAMS IN THE GNAC TOURNEY
Suffolk makes its eighth overall trip into the GNAC post-season. The trip is the first since 2017, first in the Ashley Van Vechten era and first as the fourth seed, the highest finish for the blue-and-gold since it won the 2010 regular-season crown.
The Rams will host their second-ever post-season action, first since 2010, and look to escape the quarterfinals for the fourth time overall and first since 2016. Suffolk owns a 3-4 conference quarterfinals record in its seven trips all-time.
LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk women's soccer sealed its best regular-season in nearly a decade early on as agoal within the first 10 minute spaced the Rams to a 4 -0 victory over Rivier Wednesday evening at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.

RAMS REVIEW
Suffolk secured its best season in nearly a decade Wednesday night as it sealed its 10th win of the season behind a 4-0 shutout of Rivier to move to 10-5-0 on the year and 8-4-0 against conference competition, the second-most league wins in a single season and most since 2010 (10-2).
Offensively, the Rams receive team-best numbers in every from junior Caleigh O'Brien, who owns nine goals and six assists for 24 points. If you were to add up Julia Hunt's and Addisyn Lanza's individual points you'd get O'Briens as the sophomore and junior have each supplied 12. Hunt boasts a stat line of five goals and two helpers, while Lanza split her offense down the middle with four goals and assists apiece. Carley Pearce joins the group with double-digit points behind a three-goal, four-assist stat line.
Allison Rodrigues has been a main reason for Suffolk's success as the sophomore has played all, but 10 minutes in net. Over 15 games she has assembled a 1.18 GAA and a .847 save percentage with eight shutouts to her credit.
LASER LOOK
Lasell has won four of its last five games, including two straight, to move to 8-10-0 on the year and 8-4-0 versus conference competition.
The Lasers' 29-goal attack is boosted by Serena Speight and Bobbi O'Guin. Speight leads the way with six goals with O'Guin chipping in five and both players dishing out four assists each.
Angela Sanzari is the go-to starter in net for Lasell. She has compiled a 1.66 GAA and .618 save percentage over 17 appearances, 16 starters with a pair of shutouts to her credit.
RAMS VS. LASERS IN GNAC TOURNAMENT
- Lasell is Suffolk's most common GNAC Tournament opponent. In the Rams' 12 league post-season outings, the blue-and-gold has faced Lasell five times, three in the quarterfinals and twice in the championship.
- Suffolk has never beaten Lasell in a post-season contest (0-5-0).
- The Rams will be the higher seed against the Lasers for the first time.
- Suffolk and Lasell will compete on the Rams' home pitch for the first time in the league's tourney.

Addisyn Lanza netted what would be the game-winner with less than 10 minutes left in regulation to lead Suffolk women's soccer to a 1-0 victory over Lasell Oct. 9 at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.
