LAST TIME OUT
Behind early goals in each half Suffolk women's soccer defeated Norwich, 2-0, Wednesday night at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park. The victory pushed the Rams to 4-1-0 in GNAC action, which marks the best league ledger through five games for the blue-and-gold since the program's inauguration in 2007.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk's three-game win streak has helped the Rams move to 6-2-0 on the year and 4-1-0 against GNAC counterparts.
The Rams have outscored their opponents 23-7 led by Caleigh O'Brien's seven-goal, four-assist offensive output. The junior forward is one of 10 Suffolk players to have produced a point this season. Julia Hunt and Addisyn Lanza join O'Brien as consistent contributors to the offense with identical stat lines of three goals and two helpers.
Allison Rodrigues has played every minute in net for the blue-and-gold. The sophomore keeper brings in a 0.83 GAA and a .877 save percentage into Saturday's showdown.
SAINTS SAYINGS
Emmanuel returned to the win column Wednesday with a 2-0 decision over Albertus Magnus to move to 4-6-0 on the season and 3-1-0 in GNAC outings.
Natalie Dash is the biggest threat when it comes to scoring as the senior forward holds a team-best six strikes. Syndey Allen (1g, 2a), Kennedy Davignon (1g, 2a) and Jill Kutash (2g) share second on the squad in points with four each.
Lexi Gawron is Emmanuel's every day starter between the goal posts. She holds a .773 save percentage and a 1.70 GAA. Alyssa Grugnale has seen some time in net for the Saints and boasts a .778 save percentage and 1.54 GAA.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- Emmanuel holds a hefty 12-1-0 all-time series lead over Suffolk.
- The Rams only and last victory against the Saints came via a 6-2 decision Sept. 18, 2010.
- Suffolk has fallen in the last nine meetings with Emmanuel.

ACADEMIC ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Since joining the national coaching association in 2008, Suffolk women's soccer has been acknowledged for its academic excellence and 2018 was no different as the Rams garnered their 12th consecutive United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, the national organization announced Thursday morning.

Suffolk returns to the pitch at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park Wednesday, Oct. 9 for a midweek match against Lasell. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
