11th Straight United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for Women’s Soccer

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Since joining the national coaching association in 2008, Suffolk women's soccer has been acknowledged for its academic excellence and 2018 was no different as the Rams garnered their 11th consecutive United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, the national organization announced Thursday morning. 

Suffolk saw its name among the near 1,000 collegiate programs after reaching the required team GPA of 3.0 or higher a year ago. 

Across three divisions 989 teams – 345 men, 644 women, earned the Team Academic Award. The Rams were one of eight GNAC programs on the list as Albertus Magnus, Colby Sawyer, Emmanuel, Johnson &W ales, Regis, Saint Joseph's (Maine) and Simmons earned the feat as well. 

Collectively the Rams combined for a 3.24 GPA over 2018-19.
