LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's soccer team ended its 2018 GNAC slate with an exclamation point as the Rams stormed past Norwich, 2-0, Saturday afternoon at Sabine Field.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk (3-10-1) picked up its third win of the season Saturday when the Rams shutout Norwich, 2-0. 

Caleigh O'Brien has been the catalyst to Suffolk's offense as the sophomore is one-point shy of 20 with nine goals and one assist on her state line. Julia Hunt has compliment O'Brien's offensive output with the freshman scoring four goals in her first collegiate campaign.

In her first year in blue-and-gold Allison Rodrigues has stood tall in between the posts for the Rams. The rookie keeper holds a .782 save percentage and a 1.92 goals-against average.

BUCCANEERS BREAKDOWN
Mass. Maritime was kept off the scoreboard Saturday as the Buccaneers were shutout by Bridgewater State, 9-0, to dip to 2-12 overall. 

The Bucs' 16-goal offense is paced by senior forward Madison Taylor, who has netted nine. To go with her goals, Taylor has dished out two handouts to be the only player to have double figures points with 20. Anna Deely is second on the squad with nine points behind four markers and one assist.

MMA has utilized a pair of keepers this year. Mikayala Houlihan has seen the most action. In over 850 minutes of field time, the sophomore netminder has put together a .620 save percentage and a .569 goals-against average. Rachel Gardner, meanwhile, has played half the time as Houlihan and owns a .684 save percentage to go with a 4.02 goals-against average.

INSIDE THE SERIES 

  • Suffolk is unbeaten all-time versus Mass. Maritime, picking up all four meetings since it began in 2009.
  • The Rams picked up the last meeting in convincing 10-0 fashion.
  • Suffolk has kept the Buccaneers off the scoreboard three times; 2009 (9-0), 2010 (5-0) and 2017 (10-0).
  • The blue-and-gold's 10-goal output against MMA marked the most markers in a single outing in the al-time series.
