PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Johnson & Wales scored three goals, two in a six-minute span, in the second stanza to take down Suffolk women's soccer, 3-1, Wednesday night at Scots Miracle Gro Athletic Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Johnson & Wales commanded the first frame with all 17 shots on the scoresheet coming off Wildcats' cleats with Allison Rodrigues turning aside all six she faced.
After the scoreless first half, the Wildcats punched open the scoring just 3:31 into the action. Jordan Restivo crossed the ball into the box where Emily Zeblisky volleyed it out of the air and into the goal.
JWU's offense struck agains just six minutes later. Mackenzie Wilis slid the ball past two Suffolk defenders to Cat Nolan and she drove it home from 35-yards out.
The Rams cut the lead in half in the 69th minute. Off the restart, Melissa Adamo served the ball to Caleigh O'Brien in the box. The sophomore spun past two JWU defenders and around Wildcats' keeper Collen Lynch to despoit the ball into the open net.
Johnson & Wales added an insurance goal with just over seven minutes left on the clock as Mackenzie Willis headed ball over Rodrigues gloves and tapped it into the netting.

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Johnson & Wales outshot Suffolk, 24-5, and held an 11-1 advantage in shots on goal.

- O'Brien has scored in back-to-back outings and is responsible for all four of Suffolk's goals it the last seven games.
