NEWTON, Mass. – A late tally by the Mustangs could not be overcome by Suffolk women's soccer as the Rams fell on the wrong side of a 1-0 decision to Mount Ida at Alumni Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Mt. Ida's Bailey Elliot took a pass from Lacey Perry in the 75th minute and chipped the Rams keeper Julia Fieldsend for the only goal after the teams had played scoreless for the first three-quarters of the game. 

KEEPING UP WITH THE KEEPERS

  • Fieldsend made three saves.
  • AnnaMarie Seiler had five saves and earned the shutout for the Mustangs. 

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING

  • Suffolk held edges in both shots, 8-7, and corner kicks, 5-3.
