Kim Tiberi joins the Suffolk women's ice hockey team as an assistant to Taylor Wasylk in the Rams' first season of action in 2018-19.

Tiberi's first season on the bench was nothign short of expectations as she helped the Rams put together a 15-9-2 overall record and 10-4-2 NEHC mark to capture the second seed in the league's postseason tournament. A member of the 2019 NEHC Coach of the Year's staff, she coached five Rams to all-league recognition in Tess Adams (first-team), Kristen Caporusso (third-team), Shana Cote (Rookie of the Year, third-team, rookie-team), Madison Duff (second-team, rookie-team) and Haley Poloskey (rookie-team). 

Tiberi is no stranger to the game as her true success on the ice comes from her playing career at Norwich. Her four-year career in Vermont is nothing short of extradoinary and ended with an exclaimation point, the 2018 NCAA Division III Women's Ice Hockey Championship. Prior to hoisting the national championship trophy in 2018, she helped the Cadets finish as the nation's runner-up in 2015 and 2017, respectively. On the conference level, Tiberi was instrumental to three consecutive New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) regular-season banners (2016, 2017, 2018) and back-to-back NEHC Tournament Championship title in 2017 and 2018.  

Along the way, Tiberi took home individual honors with the defenseman being named a CCM First-Team All-Aermcan twice, in each of her upperclassmen campaigns. The two-time All-NEHC first-team honoree, was tabbed the New England Hockey Writers Association DII/DIII Palyer of the Year in 2016-17 and brought home a pair of All-USCHO First-Team honors. She was also acknoweldged for work inside the classroom, while at Nrwich with three NEHC All-Academic Team honors, while garnering Dean's List status in 75 percent (6-8) of her semesters in attendance. 

When she turns her skates in for a whislte, Tiberi has coached at the Elite Hockey camp in Northfield, Vermont, and is a four-year volunteer at the Special Olympics. 

A 2018 graduate of Norwich, Tiberi earned a Bachelor of Science in health and human perforamnce with a minor in biology and coaching.
