Adams turned in her skates for a whistle after completing her senior season on the Rams’ inaugural team in 2017-18. On the ice she laced up her skates in all 26 games in the program’s first year topping the office with 18 goals and 14 assists for 32 points. Her first season standing on Suffolk’s bench as a coach saw the Rams hit a slump early on. It picked up the pace at just the right time to seal the sixth seed in the NEHC postseason with an 8-7-1 conference mark. Upsets in the quarterfinals and semifinals sent the blue-and-gold to the championship contest for the first time in program history. Conference powerhouse Norwich proved to be too much for Suffolk, however, and its sophomore season ended with an overall record of 10-15-3.

Adams coached her former teammate Shana Cote (third-team) and Grace Scholz (tournament team) to NEHC accolades in 2019-20, while Rams newcomers Maddy Burton (third-team) and Julia McLellan (rookie team) were acknowledge the by the league as well.

In addition to competing for Suffolk’s women’s hockey’s squad, Adams played two years on the Rams’ women’s golf team. She was an ingredient to the Rams’ NWGC Championship in the spring of 2018 and was awarded for her academics with a spot on the NWGC Academic All-Conference team in 2019.

The Calgary, Alberta’s talents came to Boston after three years at SUNY Canton. In her time in Canton, New York, she accumulated 79 points on 49 strikes and 30 handouts over 73 games. Adams was a three-time All-NEWHL honoree and was named the Roos MVP in 2017-18 and Rookie of the Year in 2015-16.

Prior to her collegiate career, Adams attended Banff Hockey Academy, where she was named MVP.
