BIDDEFORD, Maine – Suffolk women's hockey saw two student-athletes recognized by the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) for their performances over the final seven days of the regular-season as Shana Cote and Hannah Gordon were named CCC Player and CCC Rookie of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Cote contributed seven points in a 2-1-0 week for the blue-and-gold with multi-point games in each of the three games. To start the week, the senior captain potted two goals in a 4-0 win at Salve Regina. Two days later, she had a stick in three goals in a 9-1 triumph over Curry with one marker of her own and two helpers. The Broomfield, Colorado, native wrapped up the week with a two-goal effort against Endicott. In the three games over the four days she recorded five goals and two assists and a plus-5 rating.

Gordon, meanwhile, was strong in her lone appearance between the pipes. She secured a shutout at Salve Regina with a 22-save effort.

It is not the first time the pair has been acknowledged with weekly awards by the league this season. Cote collected her third player of the week nod, while Gordon received the best goalie status for the second time. Overall this season, seven Rams have combined for 11 weekly awards from the CCC.
