BOSTON – Suffolk women's hockey takes a break from NEHC play one final time in 2019-20 as it heads to Amherst Thursday, Feb. 13. Puck drop at Orr Rink is set for 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Suffolk women's hockey came back to force the extra session with five minutes remaining in regulation, but Castleton with the team to strike in OT, to down the Rams, 3-2, Sunday night at Spartan Arena.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is in search of its first win in February as the Rams, who are 7-13-1 overall, are on a three-game skid.  

Maddy Burton and Shana Cote have each found the back of the net nine times to lead Suffolk's 49-goal offense. Burton tops the team in points and assists as well with nine helpers for 19 points with Cote sitting second in the same categories with eight handouts and 17 points. Haley Poloskey has eclipsed double digit points as well with four goals and six set-ups. 

Kristen Caporuss and Julia McLellan have each seen time in between the pipes. McLellan brings in a 3.27 GAA and .899 save percentage through 17 games played. Caprousso, meanwhile, boasts a 2.52 GAA and .898 save percentage in 10 appearances. 

MAMMOTHS MENTIONABLES
Amherst is on a six-game unbeaten streak, with five wins in a row, to head into Thursday's tangle 13-4-4 overall. 

The Mammoths have made 53 goals this season led by Carley Daly's nine. Daly is second on the squad in points with 16 with seven helpers to her credit. Jillian Mazzocca's 10 set-ups pace the team in assists with the first-year forward pacing the pack in points with 18. 

Caitlin Walker is the go-to goalie for Amherst. In 20 starts, Walker has built a 1.21 GAA and .955 save percentage

Suffolk will wrap up the regular season in front of Ram Nation Saturday, Feb. 15 when it entertains Plymouth State at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Rink at 7:30 p.m.
