2018-19 NEHC ALL-ACADEMIC TEAM

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – Halle Usseglio of the Suffolk women's hockey team was recognized for her work inside the classroom with a spot on the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC)'s All-Academic Team, the organization announced Tuesday morning.

To be eligible for all-academic recognition by the league, a student must carry a minimum of a 3.0 cumulative GPA and have completed one full-year at their current institution.

With Suffolk women's hockey in its inaugural season and its 22-player roster comprised majorly of first-year student-athletes and a handful of transfers, Usseglio was the only Ram qualified to earn the feat. As a sophomore, the marketing major has put together a 3.202 cumulative GPA to be the first-ever Suffolk women's hockey player acknowledged for her academic achievements.

At the time of publication, seven of the nine NEHC institutions were represented with 73 student-athletes in total earning the honor. For a full list of honors, please click here
