BOSTON – With just two weeks left before the end of first semester play, Suffolk women's hockey will play in front of its home crowd one final time in 2018 when it entertains Plymouth State and Southern Maine at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink. The Rams will first host the Panthers Friday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m., before tangling with the Huskies Saturday, Dec. 1 at 5:20 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Trailing 2-0, the Suffolk women's hockey team sprung back with two unanswered goals to force overtime with UMass Boston Nov. 17 at Edward T. Barry Arena. Neither of the New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) foes could lite the lamp in the extra session and the conference clash ended in a 2-2 stalemate.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk, who is 5-3-1 overall, sits in a four-way tie for third place in the NEHC standings with five points behind a 2-1-1 league ledger. 

Tess Adams and Shana Cote have been consistent contributors to the Rams' offense, which has found the back of the net 33 times as a team this season. Adams leads the way in goals (7), assists (8) and points (15) with Cote falling in a close second behind a stat line of seven strikes, four helpers and 12 points. 

Kristen Caporusso has defended the pipes for the blue-and-gold this season. The sophomore holds a .915 save percentage and a 1.67 GAA with three shutouts to her credit.

PANTHERS PREVIEW
Plymouth State is one of the four teams sharing third place in the NEHC standings with five points with an identical league ledger of Suffolk, 2-1-1. Overall, the Panthers are 2-3-1. PSU has been stagnant for over two weeks with its last action coming back on November 20 when it defeated New England College, 2-1, in overtime. 

Oliviqa MacMillan's four-goal effort buoys the Panthers' 11 goal offense. Seven different skaters have recorded two points through six games with Alexis Fagan's and Brooke Maggy's pair of points coming off two goals. Both of Siri Brett's points were off assists, while Sydney Linnick, Julie Nagel and Amber Thomas split their points between one goal and one assist.

PSU has used a two-headed goaltending duo of Emelie Lindqvist and Alex Rajsigl. Lindqvist has seen the most time, playing and starting five games, and has put together a .915 save percentage and a 2.95 GAA. Rajsigl, meanwhile, holds a .889 save percentage and a 2.01 GAA in her two appearances and one start. The Panthers pair of wins was split between Lindqvist and Rajsigl with each goalie owning one win in net apiece.

HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HUSKIES
Southern Maine heads into the weekend in second place in the conference standings with six points thanks to a 3-2-0 conference record. Overall, USM is 3-3-1 and will face UMass Boston Friday night prior to its Saturday showdown with Suffolk. 

The Huskies have a well-balanced offense paced by Katie Nolan's six points on four goals and two assists. Jensen Hamblett is the biggest threat when it comes to set-ups as the senior defenseman has tallied a team-high four assists. Jill Hannigan has proven to be a scorer and a helper with two goals and two assists to her credit.

Britney Evangelista and Whitney Padget have split time in net for Southern Maine. Padget, who is 2-2-0 in between the pipes, brings a .943 save percentage and 2.01 GAA into the weekend, while Evangelista sits 1-1-1 with a .965 save percentage and a 1.30 GAA.
