WESTFIELD, Mass. – The Suffolk women's golf team captured the Westfield State Open tournament Saturday afternoon at the Shaker Farms Country Club.
The Rams' team score of 335 topped the five teams on the course to take home the title.
Aine Dillon boasted the blue-and-gold to victory as the junior garnered individual medalist honors with a card of 76.
Freshmen Nicole Antonucci and Brooke Chapman placed inside the top 10 as well. Antonucci shared seventh with an 85, while her classmate was one stroke behind her for ninth.
Tess Adamslanded just outside the top 10 in a tie for 11th with a score of 88.
Madison Scheinberg rounded out the Rams with a 116-stroke performance, good for 21st.
Suffolk wraps up its spring slate today, Sunday, April 29 at the inaugural Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) Championship at Tekoa Country Club.
